Cultivated in the unique lacustrine soils (Karewas) of Pampore at an altitude of 5,300 feet. Our Mongra saffron consists exclusively of the top dark red stigmas, renowned for world-highest natural crocin (color), safranal (aroma), and picrocrocin (flavor) concentration. Harvested at dawn during the brief autumn bloom.
